How to Get Rid Of Back Acne with Tea Tree Oil

If you've read my information on Tea Tree Oil For Acne then you know that I swear by this natural product as a remedy for getting rid of acne. Some people may be wondering if Tea Tree Oil will get rid of chest and back acne also. If you have severe acne like I have, than chances are you may have had breakouts on your back and chest as well. Some of the large pimples and cyst you can get on your back, shoulders, and chest can become very painful and inflamed and worse from sweating, weather changes, and your clothing rubbing against them. The good news is, that Tea Tree Oil works just as good on clearing up the acne on your back and chest as it does on your face.

One problem about using Tea Tree Oil to get rid of your chest and back acne though, is trying to apply it to those hard to reach places behind your back. If you have a spouse perhaps they can help. If you are too self conscious about it, and have pimples and zits developing in those hard to reach places on your back, then I have found a liquid soap that contains a large amount of Tea Tree Oil in its ingredients and works pretty effectively at getting rid of acne on your body also. I recommend using this stuff on your back, chest, and lower neck area where you get your breakouts, and to use pure Tea Tree Oil in the bottle on your face blemishes.

With that said, you are probably wondering what this soap is if you haven't seen or heard of it before. The soap is called "Body Essence" and says Tea Tree Oil right on the front of it. I've placed a image below this paragraph to avoid confusion when shopping for it. There's been a few times when I've seen my local Walmart sell it, but other times I had to buy it online because they didn't keep it in stalk.

The soap is in liquid form so it is very easy for scrubbing behind your back in the shower. I have used and it works great on getting rid of chest and back acne blemishes. However, every once in a while I will get that stubborn pimple that will turn into cyst and won't go away. A dab of pure bottled Tea Tree Oil as I mentioned will get rid of those few stubborn pimples and cyst, but you may need someone else to apply it for you if it's in hard to reach area.

You can get a 28 0z. bottle of liquid Body Essence Tea Tree Oil soap for under five dollars, if you shop around. 28 ounces is quite a bit of soap fro the price and it last me on average about a month to a month and half using it daily. Two months or more if I use it every three of four days. Using a combination of the Tea Tree Oil and Body Essence Tea Tree Oil Soap, you will be on your way to getting rid of your chest and back acne in little time. No more being so self-conscious about revealing some of your skin at the beach!

Chest and Back Acne Causes

  • Sweating can cause your chest and back acne to get worse. If you are athletic, or engage in activities that cause you to sweat a lot beneath your clothing, then try to shower frequently to keep you back and chest acne free--especially after having a good heavy sweat.
  • Tight clothing that rubs on your skin can cause chest and back acne breakouts and aggravate pimples and cyst that are already there. Try to wear loose styled t-shirts and clothing that is less likely to rub or irritate your skin. Wear clean clothes every day.
  • Climate changes can also play a role in the development of acne on your chest and back. Wearing tight fitting clothing on hot summer days can cause a lot of sweating and skin oil to build up on your chest in back, so if you are in the sun a lot, try to shower frequently as mentioned above.
  • Watch your diet. Certain foods can aggravate acne and make your chest and back acne worse. For more information about your diet and acne, see my article on: Tea Tree Oil For Acne and Changing Your Diet.
  • Lack of sunlight on your skin can make your acne worse and stick around longer. Having your shirt off at the beach and soaking up some natural sun rays can help heal you back and chest acne. The Sun has U.V.s, being direct in the sun will kill off some of the acne bacteria. I've tested this myself. I spent few hours a week in the sun at the beach, and after being in direct sunlight for long periods, my back and chest acne started to heal up, and the boils and cyst eventually vanished. It has been known that sunlight can aid in killing certain types of bacteria, so is no surprise that sunlight will help prevent and get rid of your chest and back acne.
